TMMAAF has partnered with seven Intermediate schools in Berkeley County, West Virginia to provide high quality, fun, and creative after school arts classes. The after school arts classes are designed to be an extension of the school day. They begin as soon as students are dismissed, alleviating the need for parents to drop their children off at another location.
We are very confident in the talent that already exists in each of our participating schools. Teachers and staff have talents that they love sharing with students beyond what they are already teaching in the classrooms. We have had teachers and staff teach our students crocheting, bucket drumming, yoga, voice, photography, and home economic skills, and more!
TMMAAF and the students at North Middle School created our first ever, student ran podcast. Podcasts are growing in popularity with families.
They give you an engaging way to connect with kids, no screen required.

Marleen Werner was the mother of our board member Tony Martirano. She passed away in 2019 and in her honor, the Tony M. Music and Arts Foundation will award five $100 scholarships to students wishing to pursue a collegiate career in the arts.
Marleen was a beautiful artist and loved drawing. She loved to sing, especially in church, and would write daily. Her love of the arts was a major influence in Tony's life and love of the arts as well.
